LAMINATED VENEER LUMBER
Laminated veneer lumber, more commonly known as LVL, is an engineered wood product. Proven globally for over 30 years, LVL is typically used as structural members for lintels, beams, mid-floors and roofs across residential and commercial building projects.
LVL is made by peeling wood veneers and laminating them together under precise conditions.
Each wood veneer is tested to determine its properties, which means the veneers can be combined using different recipes based on the properties of the final product required. Heat, glue and pressure are used to combine the veneers. This results in an end product which is solid, highly predictable and uniform.
Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is anengineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives. It is typically used for headers, beams, rimboard, and edge-forming material. LVL offers several advantages over typical milledlumber: Made in a factory under controlled specifications, it is stronger, straighter, and more uniform. Due to its composite nature, it is much less likely than conventional lumber to warp, twist, bow, or shrink.

CHINA MEGA LVL FORMWORK BEAMS
Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is an engineered wood product that provides a consistent, high-performance alternative to solid lumber and steel in structural uses.
LVL Formwork beams come standard with a lemon-yellow paint coating. This is applied to protect the beams from the natural elements whilst onsite. LVL Formwork beams are known to be a lot sturdier than commonly used H20 Formwork Beams, LVL out performs H20’s in shear and strength values, which enables the contractor to have longer spans on their primary bearers and will result in less equipment needed on site.
Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is made from 100% renewable Radiata Pine. Extremely stable, stronger and straighter than normal timber, LVL can be made to almost any length and is ideal for formwork beams, lintels, framing and trusses.

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is what its name describes a engineered wood product out of several layers of veneer glued together to a beam. In contrast to plywood, the layers of LVL are all in the same direction and not crossed to each other. That gives the product a higher MOE and traction. Further the layers are mostly thicker than those of Plywood.
