FILM FACED BIRCH PLYWOOD F/F AND F/W

Film faced birch plywood is a material with particularly good water resistance characteristics. Waterproof glue (phenol formaldehyde resin) is used for gluing plywood veneer layers. Durability and water resistance are added to the material by a special layer of phenolic coating, which covers surface of plywood sheet on both sides. This coating provides effective protection of the material against moisture and mechanical damage.

Depending on the intended use, we offer laminated plywood with a smooth surface (F/F) on both sides or a smooth / wiremesh, anti-slip (F/W) surfaces.

Film-facing improves the panel’s resistance to natural and chemical conditions. Anti-slip, wear-resistant and easily handled surface makes this plywood ideal for applications demanding high wear resistance such as various composite structures, floors and sidewalls of trucks, railway wagons, warehouses etc. Also this plywood is suitable for use as decorative material in furniture construction.
