Plywood FR (Flame Retardant) Euro Class B is an plywood panel developed specifically for use in situations where a Euro Class B flame retardant board is required under building regulations.

Intended to be used wherever fire protection is the first priority (e.g interior finishes for public buildings, boat & yacht building, the automotive industry, exhibition stands, etc), our flame retardant  panels are classified in accordance with BS EN 13501 Euroclasses B & C.

This is an internal product with non decorative surfaces.

To meet the European classifications, the rate of fire growth, total heat release, smoke production and burning droplets are measured by testing samples of the products to EN 13823 (The SBI test) and EN 11925-2 (The SFI test) and, for wood-based panels, classified as Euroclass B or C in accordance with BS EN13501-1. Euroclass B is higher technical class than Euroclass C and, therefore by definition, if material conforms to Euroclass B then it will exceed the requirements for Euroclass C. See link  https://www.thewpa.org.uk/flame-retardants  for a fuller explanation
